2024 Summer Camp Descriptions
FOR CHILDREN CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A
2, 2 1/2, 3 YEAR OLD CLASS OR VPK CLASS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR.
SUMMER CAMPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED
WHIMSICAL WOODS ADVENTURE: Explore the wonders of nature right in our backyard. Earn badges as you investigate the plants, animals and insects that are all around us!! This camp is offered June 3-6 for children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
SUMMER SCIENCE STEAM: STEAM focuses on hands-on learning for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We'll have fun indoors and outdoors with some summer science experiments and activities! We'll explore water and learn about the ocean, discover the power of the sun, travel through the galaxy, and have bubbling fun with chemical reactions! Get ready for some Super Summer Science! This camp is offered June 3-6 for children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
FLORIDA FUN ADVENTURE: Let's set off to explore Florida! As we journey through Florida, we will explore some of our theme parks and landmarks. This camp is offered June 10-13 for the children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
SUMMER OLYMPICS SCIENCE: The Summer Olympics are almost here! Celebrate the spirit of the Olympics with these fun Olympic science experiments and activities. We'll create our own Olympic torch and rings, learn the science of a few Olympic sports, and participate in a few games too! We may even see some "fireworks"! Join in the celebration and science of the Olympics. This camp is offered June 10-13 for children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
SEASIDE TREASURES: This week we will be diving below the surface of the sea and exploring all of the cool things found down there! We will look for fishes and some interesting sea creatures. Who knows what we will find, but we have not doubt it will be a fun-filled week of camp! This camp is offered June 10-13 for children currently enrolled in a 2 or 2 1/2 year old class for the 2023-24 school year AND July 8-11 for children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
A "DOG"-GONE ADVENTURE: We will spend the week learning how to care for our very own dog (pretend of course)! We will name our dog, feed our dog, and make dog accessories and treats! This camp is offered June 17-20 for the children currently enrolled in a 2 or 2 1/2 year old class for the 2023-24 school year.
LEGO STEAM CAMP: Students will learn through play with LEGOS during our LEGO STEAM Camp. Each day we will explore hands-on activities using science, technology, engineering, art and math. Students will create their own LEGO t-shirt during camp to wear on Thursday. This camp is offered June 17-20 for the children currently enrolled in a 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
ONCE UPON A TIME FAIRYTALES: We are inviting all of our brave Knights, daring Princesses, fiery Dragons and mischievous Fairies to join us for a week of Fairytale adventures! We will explore the world of Once Upon a Time by building castles, dressing up and recreating our own fairy-tale kingdom. This camp is offered June 24-27 for the children currently enrolled in a 2, 2 1/2, 3 year old or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
MIGHTY MOVERS GO FOR THE GOLD FITNESS: Let's fly to Paris (in our imagination) and enjoy the 2024 Summer Olympics. We will enjoy participating in some of the Summer Olympic sports. We will have an opening ceremony on the first day and we will close the week with a special water day, treat and closing ceremony. Each day we will do an outdoor sports activity and indoor sports activity. This camp is sure to get your child moving! This camp is offered July 15-18 for the children currently enrolled in a 3 year old, or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
SUMMER OLYMPICS FUN: Let's fly to Paris (in our imagination) and enjoy the 2024 Summer Olympics. We will hang with teams from different nations experiencing their culture and exploring their Olympic sports through crafts. This camp is offered July 15-18 for the children currently enrolled in a 3 year old, or VPK class for the 2023-24 school year.
PETE THE CAT TAKES ON KINDERGARTEN--VPK BOOT CAMP: Sound off, 1, 2...learning, 3, 4!! Bootcamp is a refresher course of what your child learned in the VPK program. We will use literature and hands on learning activities to review important kindergarten readiness skills and strengthen your child's knowledge base. Have your child join us for a FUN learning experience that will give them the confidence they need for kindergarten. This camp is offered July 8-11 and July 15-18 and is only offered to the children who have completed the VPK program for the 2023-24 school year.
SUMMER SAFARI SEEKERS: This week we will explore all that is wonderful about Africa. We will explore the Serengeti and learn about the animals and their habitats. It is sure to be a Great Safari Adventure. This camp is offered July 15-18 for the children currently enrolled in a 2 or 2 1/2 year old class for the 2023-24 school year.
