1.  You can only sign your child up for one Science Club.  Club Tuesday Science and Club Wednesday Science are duplicate lessons.  

​2.  Below are the descriptions for March/April Club Wednesday.  

3.  Club spots will be filled in the order the child's online registration form is submitted to us.  Payment must be completed by clicking on the Club Wednesday payment link once you complete the registration.   Payment is made through paypal with a credit card.  

4.  If the club you select is full when we get to your child's online registration form, we will call or email you to see if you want a different club option.  

5.  Club Wednesday is only available for the children enrolled in a 3 year old or 4 year old VPK class.  

6.  Registration will go live on our website on Wednesday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m.

 Space Science 

 (LIMITED TO 18 CHILDREN)

March 4th:  PHASES OF THE MOON-- Every night, you can look up into the sky and notice the changing shape of the moon! We'll explore how the moon's shape or moon phases change over the course of the month.

March 11th:  FIZZING MOON ROCKS ACTIVITY -- The first moon landing was made by Apollo 11 on July 20, 1969! The astronauts collected rock samples and brought them back to Earth. We will use simple ingredients to make our own moon rocks. Do you think they collected these fizzing moon rocks?

March 25th:  NO CLUB WEDNESDAY DUE TO A STAFF MEETING!

April 1st:  MOON DOUGH -- Let's make craters with Moon Dough! Moon dough is used as a fun, sensory-rich play material that helps children develop fine motor skills, spark creativity, and engage in imaginative play. Kids will love the explosion every time a crater hits the surface.

April 8th:  PLANETS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM-- We'll explore the Solar System with this fun activity! We'll learn about the planets, the sun, moon, asteroids, and even the International Space Station!

April 15th:  CONSTELLATIONS-- Have you ever stopped and gazed at the stars on a clear dark night? We will learn a bit about the stars in the night sky and create some constellations!

April 22nd:  GALAXY SLIME -- A galaxy is a collection of billions of stars, dust, and gases held together by gravitational forces. We'll talk about our Milky Way Galaxy and make some AWESOME Galaxy Slime to play with and have fun exploring the science behind homemade slime!  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION OF CLUB WEDNESDAY.


                                                       ST. PATRICK'S DAY & GARDEN PARTY ART

March 4th:  POT OF GOLD-- We will be blending creativity, color, and a touch of whimsey, making a pot of gold craft.  It will be a hit with the kids!

March 11th:  LEPRECHAUN LOOKERS-- This fun and easy craft is perfect for helping little ones imagine spotting a sneaky leprechaun or searching for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. 

March 25th:  NO CLUB WEDNESDAY DUE TO A STAFF MEETING!

April 1st:  RAIN CLOUDS YARD SIGN-- April showers bring May flowers! This week we will start spring off with a rain cloud yard sign.

April 8th:  SUNCATCHER FLOWERPOT--  Now that the rain showers have passed, we are left with beautiful flowers! Today, we will be making a beautiful suncatcher spring flowerpot.

April 15th:  DRAGONFLY CRAFT STICK-- Spring is the perfect season to celebrate nature's tiny wonders, and dragonflies-with their shimmering wings and graceful flights.

April 22nd: BUTTERFLY-- Spring is the perfect time to bring a little fluttering magic into your home, and a butterfly craft is a cheerful, creative way to celebrate the season.  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION OF CLUB WEDNESDAY.

                       

 SPRINGTIME STORY ADVENTURES VPK BOOKS AND BEYOUND CLUB

March 4th:  "WHITE RABBITS COLOR BOOK" BY ALAN BAKER-- We will explore colors and mixing to create your own colorful rabbit masterpiece.

March 11th:  "HOW TO CATCH A LEPRECHAUN" BY ADAM WALLACE-- We will build a leprechaun trap in this hands-0n STEM challenge.

March 25th: NO CLUB WEDNESDAY DUE TO A STAFF MEETING!

April 1st:  "CHICKA CHICKA PEEP PEEP" BY JOHN HIMMELMAN-- Letters hop into spring! We will create an Easter-themed project inspired by playful little chicks tumbling across the coconut tree.

​April 8th:  "TOO MANY CARROTS" BY KATY HUDSON-- Math & story time! Count, pattern and problem-solving with carrots in a fun STEM activity.

April 15th :  "DUCK RABBIT" BY AMY KROUSE ROSENTHAL & TOM LICHTENHELD-- Flip art fun! We will make a double-sided drawing that can transform from a duck to a rabbit-exploring perspective and imagination.

April 22nd:  "THE WIDE-MOUTHED FROG" BY KEITH FAULKNER-- We will be creating your very own wide-mouthed frog in a guided drawing activity.  ​LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION OF CLUB WEDNESDAY
