1.  You can only sign your child up for one Science Club.  Club Tuesday Science and Club Wednesday Science are duplicate lessons.  

​2.  Below are the descriptions for September/October Club Wednesday.  

3.  Club spots will be filled in the order the child's online registration form is submitted to us.  Payment must be completed by clicking on the Club Wednesday payment link once you complete the registration.   Payment is made through paypal with a credit card.  

4.  If the club you select is full when we get to your child's online registration form, we will call or email you to see if you want a different club option.  

5.  Club Wednesday is only available for the children enrolled in a 3 year old or 4 year old VPK class.  

6.  Registration will go live on our website on Wednesday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m.

 FALL SCIENCE

 (LIMITED TO 18 CHILDREN)

SEPTEMBER 3RD:  Windy Fall Leaves Sensory Bottle -- In this fun activity, we will use this autumn sensory bottle to explore wind, air pressure, and fall leaves.  We'll enjoy tipping, turning, spinning, and rolling the bottles to explore the contents inside!

SEPTEMBER 10TH:   Pumpkin Volcano Science Experiment --  Erupting Pumpkin Volcanoes are a colorful Fall science activity for children!  This simple STEM experiment is a hands-on, exciting way for kids to explore science concepts and beginning chemistry reactions.  

SEPTEMBER 17TH:  Autumn Leaves Absorption Art -- We will learn about absorption science in this creative and easy experiment using household items, markers, and water!  We'll create a colorful collage of fall leaves to hang up and admire.

SEPTEMBER 24TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING.

OCTOBER 1ST:  Spooky Lava Lamp -- This is a fun spooky twist on a classic science activity using a few simple ingredients.  Our Halloween lava lamp experiment is perfect for young mad scientists exploring chemistry and physics!

OCTOBER 8TH:  Exploding Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin  -- This outrageously FUN Exploding Pumpkin science experiment for children is a great way to play and learn about science!  Get ready for giggles of excitement as the pumpkin gets bigger and bigger before it POPS!

OCTOBER 15TH:  Halloween Floam -- Halloween is an excellent time to put a little twist on classic slime experiments like this Halloween Floam.  Squishy, moldable floam is the perfect treat for kids this Halloween!  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.

SEPTEMBER 3RD:  Leaves, leaves, leaves learning the colors of Fall.

SEPTEMBER 10TH:  I like apples how about you?  Ten Apples on Top will be our lesson today!

SEPTEMBER 17TH:  What is orange and round and lays on the ground?  Pumpkins of course!  

SEPTEMBER 24TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING. 

OCTOBER 1ST:  This little mummy, wrapped up tight is super duper friendly and wants to come home with you!

OCTOBER 8TH:  Creepy, and crawly, she is sitting so pretty.  This little spider is too, too cute and itty bitty!!!

OCTOBER 15TH:  Frankie is the biggest monster, but as gentle as can be - just tickle humans he will giggle de-light-fu-ly!  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.


                                                               BOOKS AND BEYOND ADVENTURES

                                          VPK CLUB  ( LIMITED TO 18 VPK CHILDREN) 

SEPTEMBER 3RD:  "Elmer" by David McKee -- Join us for the colorful tale of "Elmer", the patchwork elephant who learns that being different makes him special!  We'll celebrate uniqueness by creating our own bright, patterned elephant artwork to take home.  

SEPTEMBER 10TH:  "Ten Apples Up on Top" by Dr. Seuss -- Can you balance apples like our silly animal friends?  We'll count, stack, and giggle through this playful story and then make our own balancing apple craft for a fun math-and-art adventure.

SEPTEMBER 17TH:  "It Looked Like Spilt Milk" by Charles G. Shaw -- Sometimes it looks like a rabbit, sometimes a tree.....but it's not!  Adventurers will guess the mystery shapes, discover the surprise ending, and use a special technique to create their own.  

​SEPTEMBER 24TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING.  

OCTOBER 1ST:  "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert --  Where will Leaf Man drift today?  We'll explore the beauty of fall leaves and other nature items, then design our own "Leaf Man" creation to take home and share.  

OCTOBER 8TH:  "Have You Seen My Acorn?" by DK Ryland --  Squirrel has lost his acorn!  Adventurers will follow his search, learn about the life cycle of an acorn, and play a lively game of Acorn Bingo!

OCTOBER 15TH:  "The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear" by Don and Audrey Wood - Little Mouse loves strawberries, but so does the Big Hungry Bear!  This week we will brainstorm ways to hide the strawberry and create a clever disguise.  ​LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.
