1.  You can only sign your child up for one Science Club.  Club Tuesday Science and Club Wednesday Science are duplicate lessons.  

​2.  Below are the descriptions for November & December Club Wednesday.  

3.  Club spots will be filled in the order the child's online registration form is submitted to us.  Payment must be completed by clicking on the Club Wednesday payment link once you complete the registration.   Payment is made through paypal with a credit card.  

4.  If the club you select is full when we get to your child's online registration form, we will call or email you to see if you want a different club option.  

5.  Club Wednesday is only available for the children enrolled in a 3 year old or 4 year old VPK class.  

6.  Registration will go live on our website on Wednesday, October 23rd at 10:00 a.m.

THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) SCIENCE (LIMITED TO 18 CHILDREN)

OCTOBER 30TH:  "MAGIC" MELTING PUMPKINS -- These melting pumpkins look like magic, but really they are just a bit of Halloween science combined with a fine motor activity.  We'll use common kitchen ingredients for this classic chemical reaction.  Get ready to be amazed and have some fun!

NOVEMBER 6TH:   MAKE A TURKEY STEAM CHALLENGE --  GOBBLE, GOBBLE!  This simple STEAM activity will allow our imaginations to run wild as we design our own turkey!  Using beads, feathers, fuzzy sticks, and play dough we'll have a blast with this hands-on harvest themed activity!

NOVEMBER 13TH:   COFFEE FILTER TURKEY --  Find out how coffee filters and clothespins transform into the cutest Thanksgiving Turkeys ever!  We will learn about solubility with this Thanksgiving art and science activity all in one.  

NOVEMBER 20TH:  NO CLUB THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING

DECEMBER 4TH:  EVERGREEN ICE MELT -- Evergreens are beautiful and a wonderful symbol of the winter season.  We will create a nature ice melt science activity to explore the senses and enjoy the beauty of the winter season.  

DECEMBER 11TH:  SNOWBALL LAUNCHER -- It doesn't snow in Florida, but we can still have a snowball fight!  We'll learn about Newton's Laws of Motion in the STEAM building experiment.  

DECEMBER 18TH:  GRINCH SLIME --  "And his heart grew three sizes that day..."  We'll make some AWESOME Grinch Slime to play with over the holiday and have fun exploring the science behind homemade slime.  LAST WEEK FOR THIS SESSION.


                                        ART THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS (LIMITED TO 36 CHILDREN)

OCTOBER 30TH: --  Pumpkins and corn are a big part of Fall and Thanksgiving.  Today, we are going to make a cute scarecrow to keep the crows away from our veggies!!

NOVEMBER 6TH: --  Now that the scarecrow has scared away the birds from our crop, we have picked the best pumpkin to decorate.  So glitzy and sparkly!!

NOVEMBER 13TH: --  Gobble, gobble, gobble!  This colorful turkey is ready to join the Thanksgiving fun and Festivities!

NOVEMBER 20TH:  NO CLUB THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING

DECEMBER 4TH: --  Fa la la la la la let's Deck the Halls with a Holly Wreath!!!

DECEMBER 11TH: --  O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, you bring us so much joy and glee!!

DECEMBER 18TH: --  Let's make some noise and ring in the New Year!!   LAST WEEK FOR THIS SESSION.

                                          VPK CLUB  ( LIMITED TO 18 VPK CHILDREN) 

OCTOBER 30TH --  Today, we are going to read the book Big Green Monster by Ed Emberley and focus on learning, reading, sorting words, and creating our own Big Green Monster!

NOVEMBER 6TH -- We will work on letter recognition by playing an exciting game "An Acorn of Fun" Alphabet Bingo!!

NOVEMBER 13TH --  Fall into learning with positional words!  We will create a fun emergent reader book to take home to review positional words and their meanings.  

NOVEMBER 20TH -- NO CLUB THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING

DECEMBER 4TH: -- We will explore Christmas with our noses as we read The Sweet Smell of Christmas.  We will create a Christmas scent to go home!

DECEMBER 11TH: -- Today, we will make an adorable Ho Ho Ho Holiday Santa using our cutting skills!

DECEMBER 18TH: -- Enjoy some science fun as we create Christmas slime.  We will mix, measure, and explore by adding fun Christmas colors and decorations to our slime.   ​LAST WEEK FOR THIS SESSION.
