1.  You can only sign your child up for one Science Club.  Club Tuesday Science and Club Wednesday Science are duplicate lessons.  

​2.  Below are the descriptions for November/December Club Wednesday.  

3.  Club spots will be filled in the order the child's online registration form is submitted to us.  Payment must be completed by clicking on the Club Wednesday payment link once you complete the registration.   Payment is made through paypal with a credit card.  

4.  If the club you select is full when we get to your child's online registration form, we will call or email you to see if you want a different club option.  

5.  Club Wednesday is only available for the children enrolled in a 3 year old or 4 year old VPK class.  

6.  Registration will go live on our website on Wednesday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m.

 THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY STEAM 

 (LIMITED TO 18 CHILDREN)

OCTOBER 29TH:  DANCING CORN -- This bubbling corn experiment appears almost magical 

NOVEMBER 5TH:  TURKEY SALT PAINTING -- This Salt Painting Science Experiment is a fun way to combine art and science together.  It is also a visual and hands-on way for children to learn about absorption as they transform their white glue drawings into a colorful design.  

NOVEMBER 12TH:  MAYFLOWER STEM CHALLENGE -- We'll have fun researching the Mayflower and discussing the different features of the ship.  Using a variety of materials, we'll build our own version of the Mayflower and test if will float!  

NOVEMBER 19TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING.

DECEMBER 3RD:  CRYSTAL CANDY CANE SCIENCE -- Ready to combine holiday fun with hands-on science?  This engaging Christmas STEM activity lets kids explore how crystals grow while creating beautiful candy cane ornaments!  You'll learn about suspension science with simple supplies and patience and watch sparkling crystals form.  

DECEMBER 10TH:  SANTA'S ICE MELT SCIENCE  -- We will Melt Santa's frozen hands!  It's a simple but effective science activity for beginner scientists!  We'll talk about the States of Matter - how the water changes from a liquid to a solid when it is frozen, and then back again to a liquid.  

DECEMBER 17TH:  ELF ON THE SHELF SLIME -- Our little science Elves will love this easy Christmas slime recipe filled with a bit of Christmas magic and a sprinkle of glitter.  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.


                                                              ART THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS

OCTOBER 29TH:  Pumpkins and corn are a big part of Fall and Thanksgiving. Today, we are going to make a cute scarecrow to keep the crows away from our veggies!!

NOVEMBER 5TH:  Now that the scarecrow has scared away the birds from our crop, we have picked the best pumpkin to decorate. So glitzy and sparkly!!

NOVEMBER 12TH:  Gobble, gobble, gobble! This colorful turkey is ready to join the Thanksgiving fun and festivities.

NOVEMBER 19TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING. 

DECEMBER 2ND:  Fa la la la la let's Deck the Halls with a Holly Wreath!!!

DECEMBER 9TH:  O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, you bring us so much joy and glee!!

DECEMBER 17TH:  Let's make some noise and ring in the New Year!!  LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.


                                                               BOOKS AND BEYOND ADVENTURES

                                          VPK CLUB  ( LIMITED TO 18 VPK CHILDREN) 

OCTOBER 29TH:  "Go Away, Big Green Monster!!" by Ed Edberley-- Adventurers will help make the Big Green Monster disappear page by page! We'll explore emotions, colors, and shapes while creating our own friendly (not-so-scary) monster craft. 

NOVEMBER 5TH:  "The Scarecrow's Hat" by Ken Brown-- Adventurers will enjoy a tale of kindness and sharing. Through an exciting sequencing activity, kids will piece together the story's key moments, boosting their reading skills and creativity. 

NOVEMBER 12TH:  " Bear Says Thanks" by Karma Wilson-- Bear wants to have a feast, but his cupboards are bare! His friends each bring something special, showing that thankfulness is the best gift of all. Adventurers will share what they're thankful for through an adorable bear writing activity. 

​NOVEMBER 19TH:  NO CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO A STAFF MEETING.  

DECEMBER 2ND:  "If You Take a Mouse to the Movies" by Laura Numeroff--Get ready for holiday fun as Mouse's imagination takes him from popcorn to snowmen to singing songs! Adventurers will create a keepsake ornament to take home. 

DECEMBER 9TH:  "Snowmen at Christmas" by Caralyn Buehner-- What do snowmen do when no one is watching? Adventurers will find out through this lively story and join in the frosty fun and experiment by making fake snow!

DECEMBER 17TH:  "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!" by Mo Willems-- Pigeon is back- and this time he wants to drive Santa's sleigh! Adventurers will laugh through this silly story and take on a Stem challenge: building a sleigh for Pigeon using boxes, tubes, and imagination. ​LAST CLASS FOR THIS SESSION.
